Donkey Foals - the Ultimate "Warm Fuzzies" Miniature
donkeys are among the most adorable creatures, and miniature donkey foals are the cutest,
most adorable of all. While there is not a "miniature donkey for sale" sign on
every mini donkey foal, we thought you would enjoy seeing them all. These miniature
donkey foals are the result of thoughtful breeding of our quality, registered miniature
donkey jacks and jennets. In order to produce miniature donkeys of the highest quality,
each mating is carefully planned to strengthen the characteristics of the parents. If you
have specific interest in a particular miniature donkey foal on the way or one on this page,
please let us know. We invite you to visit our donkey brood jennet page where we list which
jennet is bred to which jack and the approximate due date. |

Rimfire is an exciting herd sire prospect who has everything going for
him - conformation, drafty build, small size, great pedigree, eye appeal, friendly disposition,
and beautiful Dark Sorrel color! Rimfire has an elegant trot and is very alert and active.
His full sister, Fifty's
Fancy, developed into a strikingly beautiful miniature donkey and we expect
no less of Rimfire. The bay pattern on his legs sets off his beautiful dark
sorrel color, adding to his visual appeal. Not only does the pedigree have classics
like Valintino 50 and the Fireman, but also a deep sorreloutcross
pedigree on the dam's side. Fiftyfire's foals have stayed small and we expect Rimfire will
too. Rimfire is one of our best jack sorrel foals we're offering
this year. |

in moonlight. Her face is symmetrically colored, the same patches on both cheeeks, with
a wide white blaze up the muzzle. The dorsal stripe is wide and runs all the way from the
base of the ears to the tail. Her ears are red with dark brown tips. Some of her legs have
appaloosa dots on them. The rest of the spots are bold, as you can see. With a fantastic
build and a wonderful set of legs, she is a very special jennet. Her sire is a Black Russian
son and her dam goes back to Motown and Rockbridge Maracas.

legs. She is the result of crossing some very straight, drafty, well conformed donkeys with
interesting, black and sorrel genetics. Her sire is a compact, drafty, small dark sorrel
and her dam is jet black. Her grand dam, Venus Grace, is a real dark sorrel beauty who sold
at auction for US $12,000 in July, 2002. Her grand sire, Black Beans, also a very high selling
donkey at auction, carries concentrated black genetics and has produced a number of jet
black foals. It will be very interesting to see what Sable Princess produces when she attains
breeding age. |

Angel is a classy chocolate jennet foal who roams the field
with lots of energy. There is quality built into her from both her well known sire, Fiftyfire,
and her small dam, Godiva.
Angel is very friendly, square and just everything you would want in a refined donkey. She
has great show potential. Her half sister, Athena, was the reserve champion jennet at the
2002 Cheers For Ears show. She is a "half sorrel" due to her Fiftyfire
and Fireman sorrel genetics. Bred to a sorrel jack, when mature,
you have a good chance of having a sorrel foal. Fiftyfire daughters
are rarely available, so take a good look at how Angel might fit into your breeding program.
