Sun King is a fine miniature donkey herd sire prospect. He has the elegant, upheaded carriage of his sire, which goes back to Fiftyfire (one of our herd sires for many years). From his dam's side he has inherited the smooth body type of Red Lightening. He has a rich, clear, dark red color, with good frosty white points, white legs, white on the chin, nose and around the eyes. A long tail, and a mane that stands up nicely. All around a very nice mini donkey jack. Sunny is mannerly, works well with haltering, leading and hoof trims. He measured 31.25" Nov 8, 2011, with his most recent hoof trim back in June. He is filled out, and well muscled, which usually means the donkey is finished growing. If you are looking for a nice little breeding jack, give Sun King a good look.

Here is a pretty dark red mini donkey gelding. He is stocky, not too big, and a lovely dark red. He has a quiet personality, and is well behaved.
Gelded Nov 18, 2011, and will be ready to go to his new home in a few weeks. These pictures were taken in June, before he finished shedding for the summer.

Here is a very sweet tyger spotted mini donkey gelding. Very nice bold dark brown, black and white spotted pattern, straight legs, good teeth. Sweet personality as well. He always looks just gorgeous in the field, really stands out in the herd. Now weaned and gelded, perhaps he is the donkey you want to light up your field from now on?

Beacon is a very nicely built jennet, sired by Red Sonfire, a producer of stocky and correct foals. . Beacon was a show winner when young, including Reserve Champion at the Nebraska State Fair. Her 5 foals have been stocky, very correct, well muscled, and with lovely dispositions. She was named for the big star she has on her forehead, and several of her foals have had stars as well. As the red donkeys mature, they show more roan, especially on the face, so now her beacon has turned into more of a blaze. Very gentle jennet, and super easy to work with. Beacon has been bred to The Elms King of Hearts (30.5" red) for 2012. These pictures are from August 2011.

Coal black at birth, her color now shows her red heritage, and Raven is a rich dark brown. Her sire is spotted, and her dam is dark red, so this jennet can suit a variety of breeding programs, dark, red or spots. This mini jenny has a stocky build, and good structure. She has a very pretty head. Friendly jennet, and who can resist those big ears?

This is a very nice spotted jack. Mirage has more color than white, which will keep him looking good in the field. Small birth height, straight legs, good chest. He has a gorgeous head, with full mascara around his eyes, and the parentheses ears which curve towards each other. Spunky personality, he is right there when you go in the field. Mirage will be for sale at weaning, as he is related to the Rembrandt, Black Knight, and Geronimo daughters we have kept in our herd.
